The Die Another Day movie (2002) is the fourth and final film to feature Pierce Brosnan as James Bond 007. Bond travels the world in a mission to prevent a disastrous war.
Agent 007 is on the trail of the dangerous Gustav Graves (Stephens) and his brutal henchman Zao (Yune). During the journey, Bond is ably assisted by Jinx (Berry), who helps in finding the connection between Zao and Graves.
James Bond travels to Iceland in the Die Another Day movie and into the enemy base, a palace of ice, where he witnesses a cutting edge weapon capable of destroying anything on earth. After a thrilling pursuit it comes to a dramatic climax in Korea where it all began.
The movie is renowned for its high action hovercraft chase in the demilitarised zone between North and South Korea in the film’s opening sequence.

North Korea
One of Bond’s toughest jobs for MI6 was the mission to
North Korea in the Die Another Day movie. Colonel Moon, a rebel North
Korean army officer, was known to be illegally selling weapons and 007 was going
to attempt to destroy his scheme.
Surfing into North Korea

Bond arrived in style by surfboard in order to infiltrate Moon’s stronghold within the treacherous Korean Demilitarised Zone.
Deadly Chase
When Bond posed as a dealer trading diamonds for
weapons at Colonel Moon’s base, his identity was soon discovered. 007 was then
involved in an exhilarating hovercraft pursuit along the DMZ and ran Moon over
the edge of a cliff. However, Bond was captured by the Colonel’s father, General
Moon, and imprisoned.

Mr Kil
Mr Kil worked as a bodyguard for Graves. In Iceland he
tortured Jinx before she later killed him with a laser beam. Jinx and Bond then
cut Mr Kil’s hand off and used it to obtain entry into the area where Graves was
located.
Change of Face
In the Die Another Day movie, MI6 and Bond
believed Colonel Moon had died when 007 forced his hovercraft over a cliff.
However, he had miraculously survived and fled to Cuba where he underwent
special DNA therapy to drastically change his looks.
He was now known as Gustav Graves and was a British entrepreneur. His evil plan was to have North Korea invade both South Korea and Japan by making use of his new satellite weapon.

Zao
Zao is a North Korean and steadfast assistant to Colonel Moon /
Gustav Graves. His face was severely damaged after Bond destroyed Moon’s base in
Korea.
To improve his appearance Zao took DNA therapy in Cuba. However, Bond interrupted the procedure before it was complete leaving Zao further disfigured.
Cuba
Agent 007 travelled to Havana, Cuba to track down Zao. Here he
came across the beautiful Jinx, who was
working for the National Security Agency. It soon became clear that Jinx and
Bond were in Cuba in an attempt to glean more information on Zao.

At a gene therapy clinic they find Zao, but he quickly escaped. Luckily they were still able to trace him as he left behind several diamonds with the signature of British mogul Gustav Graves.
Cunning Escape
When Zao was in Cuba having his new face completed,
Jinx and Bond arrived uninvited. He was forced to make a rapid escape and
hurtled through a window before taking off in a helicopter.
Miranda Frost
Frost was a deceitful MI6 agent who also worked for
Gustav Graves. She was skilled in fencing and posed a major threat to both Jinx
and Bond in the Die Another Day movie.

Icarus
Graves owned a state of the art laser satellite, known as
Icarus, which could use the sun’s energy to provide the necessary light for the
growth of crops.
Unfortunately the powerful satellite was going to be used as a weapon by Graves to begin a war with South Korea.
Ice Palace
One of the impressive sequences in the Die Another
Day movie takes place in Iceland. Here, Gustav Graves had built a
magnificent ice palace close to his diamond mine. The press of the world were
invited to the palace to view the presentation of Project Icarus.
Ice Pursuit
Bond escaped from the palace in the villain's high
speed ice dragster and was soon pursued by the solar beam from the Icarus. In a
stunning sequence Bond outlasted the deadly laser after being left in a
precarious situation overhanging an ice shelf.

He then took off in his Aston Martin Vanquish and was pursued by Zao in a Jaguar XKR. After an intense chase on the ice, 007 drove into the rapidly melting palace before using his car's camouflage technology to great effect.
Here he was able to save Jinx from a nasty death after seeing off Zao in a treacherous pursuit. Zao perished after a chandelier knocked him out when he crashed his car into a flooded part of the palace.

Final Battle
Jinx and Bond managed to make their way onto Graves’
freight plane. 007 fought with Graves as the plane gradually lost control.
Meanwhile Jinx battled with Frost and eventually stabbed her to death.
Bond gave Graves a spectacular death where he was electrocuted and sucked into an aircraft engine. As the plane was breaking up, Jinx and Bond leapt into a helicopter in the cargo hold and escaped in the nick of time.
