Kim Basinger is an American actress and past model who played the character of Domino Petachi in the 1983 James Bond movie Never Say Never Again. She was born in Athens-Clarke County, Georgia, USA on December 8th 1953.
Kim Basinger learned dancing at an early age and gradually began to enjoy singing and dancing. She competed in beauty contests in her teen years, and won the Junior Miss Georgia pageant. Basinger moved to New York after being spotted by Ford Modeling Agency and offered a contract.

Domino Petachi first meets James Bond at a health retreat in southern France where he posed as a masseur. Later, 007 runs into Domino at her mistress’s charity ball event. Here, Largo faces off with Bond in a deadly video game called Domination.
Agent 007 manages to outsmart Largo at his own game and wins a dance with Domino where they perform an eye-catching version of the tango. During the dance, Bond informs Domino that Largo was to blame for the death of her brother, Jack Petachi.
James Bond is then invited to dinner aboard the Flying Saucer, Largo’s luxury vessel. Here, Bond infuriates Largo by kissing Domino passionately in the gymnasium. The yacht then travels to Palmyra, Largo’s retreat in North Africa, where Domino is set to be sold by auction to Arab traders.
Agent 007 is shackled to a wall high up in a stone fortress, but is able to make a dramatic get away. Using his laser watch to break out from his ancient cell, he rescues Domino Petachi using a horse and they escape by diving into the ocean.
The pair board a United States submarine and track down Largo’s underwater lair, the Tears of Allah. Here, Domino eventually kills her master with a spear gun. At the film’s end, Bond and Domino are seen relaxing in a spa.
