Kwang: ‘In a word... bribery.’
Sanchez: ‘Exactly. He took the words right out of my pocket.’
Bond: ‘In my business you prepare for the unexpected.’
Sanchez: ‘And what business is that?’
Bond: ‘I help people

Sanchez: ‘Problem solver.’
Bond: ‘More of

Wedding
In Licence to Kill, James Bond and Felix Leiter
apprehended Franz Sanchez in the Florida Keys moments before the beginning of
Leiter’s wedding. With Sanchez captured, Bond and Leiter skydived to join the
wedding party at a church in Key West.

Franz
Sanchez
Sanchez was a fierce enemy who presented an air of
confidence. He looked after his staff and in return required sheer devotion. The
well-off Sanchez was a powerful drug baron of South America who lived lavishly
in the Republic of Isthmus.
Cunning Escape
In the Florida Keys, the vehicle transporting
Sanchez to prison went off the Seven Mile Bridge from the Overseas Highway
plunging into the sea. As the vehicle sunk, Sanchez made a miraculous underwater
escape.

Ed Killifer
Killifer was the mastermind behind Sanchez’s astounding
escape after accepting a $2 million bribe - he worked for the Drug Enforcement
Administration. Bond ensured he suffered a cruel death.
Callous Murder
Felix Leiter and Della Churchill are married on the
island of Key West in Florida. Soon after Della is viciously murdered by
Sanchez’s henchmen and Leiter was fed to sharks in an aquatic facility owned by
Milton Krest.
Leiter was lucky to survive the battering, but still lost one of his legs. Attached to his body was a chilling note: “He disagreed with something that ate him.”
Sanchez and his men
The business of Sanchez created large amounts
of cash and was run by a group of money hungry thugs. The operation refined and
distributed narcotics using modern equipment and advanced techniques.

Dario
Sanchez’s preferred henchman, Dario, was assigned the key
dirty work, including the brutal killing of Della Leiter. This knife wielding
bandit was hardened, merciless, and a constant threat to 007 in Licence to
Kill.
Milton Krest
The owner of Wavekrest Marine Research, Krest’s
company concealed Sanchez’s activities and transferred the contraband into the
Unites States.
He would suffer a spectacular death by his master - Sanchez tossed Krest into the decompression chamber of a research vessel where he swiftly blew up like a balloon and burst.
Professor Joe Butcher
Butcher was a shady televangelist who lived
at a lavish meditation centre in the Mexican countryside. He used religious
broadcasts in an elaborate way to communicate with drug distributors for
Sanchez.

His centre accommodated the laboratories for Sanchez’s drug business - a crucial part of the operations for this ruthless villain in Licence to Kill.
William Truman-Lodge
Taking care of the finances for Sanchez,
Truman-Lodge ably handled the growing activities of the drug operations. When
Bond infiltrated Sanchez’s ventures, Truman-Lodge began grumbling to Sanchez
leading to his untimely demise.
Lupe Lamora
In Licence to Kill, the extremely attractive
Lamora was the girlfriend to Sanchez and future ally to Bond in his attempts to
derail Sanchez. She was treated poorly by her boyfriend who often showed an
awful temper. Lamora saw 007 as a saviour and eventually helped him penetrate
Sanchez’s criminal gang.

Drug Seizure
James Bond was able to cut off a Sanchez drug delivery
carried by one of Milton Krest’s marine vessels. He then stole $5 million in
drug money to set up the death of Krest.
Utter Chaos
Initially James Bond convinced Sanchez that one of his
own staff members was deceiving him. Eventually 007’s disguise was noticed and
his life was at threat.
Explosion at the Otomi Ceremonial Centre, Mexico

Bond had to see off the dangerous Dario before ensuring the meditation centre and associated laboratories were destroyed. In the process he caused complete pandemonium at Butcher’s prestigious centre.
Pam
Bouvier
A CIA agent and previous United States Army pilot, Bouvier
was incredibly strong and determined. She ably assisted Bond in halting Sanchez
and made use of her excellent flying skills.

Desert Pursuit
Sanchez had developed a unique system to transfer
his drugs into the United States. From his laboratories he had dissolved the
narcotics in petroleum which would later be reconverted upon arrival.
Making use of powerful Kenworth lorries, Sanchez aimed to see the convoy through to its destination via the treacherous Rumorosa Mountain Pass in northern Mexico.

However, Bond and Bouvier planned to impede the fleet. In a long drawn out assault on this notorious stretch of highway they systematically brought Sanchez and his criminal empire to a halt. This dramatic pursuit in the Licence to Kill mission showed 007 at his best.
